We stayed for two nights but not a pleasant experience. We had requested for early check in. Arrived at 2 pm but were not given the keys because the apartment was getting cleaned. Tried to contact Mary on two numbers given in the mail but no answer. Anyways, on checking in, noticed that the drain in the main bathroom was blocked, the pot had toilet cleaner all over, the ulility room wash basin was full of foam , no soaps and towels in any bathroom (even a low budgeted hotel at least provide these basic amenities). The internet worked for just two hours and then it constantly showed " forbidden". The window in the bedroom opened in front of a dirty building. The cushions on the sofa in the living rom were very filthy and in dirty condition. Since Mary didnot pickup the phone during office hours only, we wrote her an email. She never replied back but the next day we found 4 towels in a corner in the bedroom.....just that....no other resolve to our problems. With a long list of do's and dont's for the guests, I think the team first look into fulfilling there duties and then expect the guests to follow there rules. Overall not a friendly and polite approach of the management. At the high price of the apartments, it is not worth the value :(((.

Room Tip: We stayed in no. 310. This has useless views. Take the ones which face the river. Mention specifically while booking.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are very sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay at By the Bridge apartments as much as our other guests. The apartment you stayed in, number 310, was managed by Mary the apartment owner. We were very concerned to read your comments about the standards. This was the only apartment where we did not directly work with the housekeeping staff and have input into maintaining the standards ongoing. As of the end of summer we now no longer offer this apartment for rental. Regarding early arrival and late departure we do offer this at an additional cost as part of the booking process, on checking your booking you did not book these options so regretfully the apartment was not ready for you prior to the agreed check in time. We do hope that despite the apartment not meeting your expectations that you enjoyed your time in Inverness and Scotland.

Big, roomy 1 bedroom apartment was very comfy. 1 and 1/2 baths and own laundry (which we didn't use). Had a great kitchen as well and a nice french door and private balcony. Private parking garage in building for car was convenient as well, only down side was a couple of steps up from the parking garage via interior stairwell to the elevators but wasn't a huge problem at all. nice Lobby entrance has electric key fob entry and fronted to bridge street, right in the heart of everything and just across from the visitor information center...great central location. restaurants aplenty! The coffee table in the room was even stacked full of tourist and info flyers, which I added updated ones into. The only negative was that the room didn't have A/C, which we knew beforehand. Not that it is really needed for the climate there, as it was always nice and cool but it might have served well to control humidity. We opened the bedroom window and balcony door most of the time for a cross breeze. I highly recommend staying here

Room Tip: best views are the front units on Bridge or Bank street but a bit louder

Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, modern, well equipped and had a fantastic shower. BTBA are centrally located in Inverness within easy walking distance of restaurants, pubs, the river, old churches, Inverness Castle, etc. The river was visible if we went onto our small balcony and looked right but the view of Inverness castle directly opposite was sullied by an ugly commercial building. However, what really diminished our experience was the complete lack of human interface with an owner, receptionist or manager. We had to pick up the key from the disinterested restaurant staff downstairs while we worried about where we'd left our car in a nearby lane. (There is no on street parking in front of the apartment). The envelopes containing keys at the restaurant had no names on them so it was back to the car to retrieve paperwork to confirm our apt number. Even once we obtained the key we struggled to get into this super secure building until we solved the mystery of the "tear shaped fob" that is used to unlock the main door. (I wonder how non English speaking guests do with that one!) Anyway, to be fair, we were very well pleased with the apartment once we got into it but the highly impersonal check in procedure really needs to be humanised. Oh yes, WiFi was great one day #1 but slowed to a crawl on day #2.

Room Tip: If you want an unimpeded view of the river request an apartment on the front of the building.

Stayed here a while ago with my partner. Our apartment had lovely views of the castle and river. Room was immaculate, well furnished. The walk in shower was amazing, high pressure and nice and hot. We had a lovely balcony, beautiful to sit out in and watch the sunset. Good central location too. We are looking to return soon

We stayed 5 nights in this appartment building. The location is perfect in the middle of the city, a indoor car park is available with the lift. Shopping, Pubs, restaurants, food stores - all just some minutes of foodwalk away.
The room was very large and with modern equipment and clean.
Getting the keys is simple, you just go to a restaurant in the same building and get.
Kitchen equipment was not complete. Being just two, it was no problem, but for 3-4 some stuff would be missing.
Price adequate, maybe a bit too high. But it is modern, it is Schottland and it is down-town including car park, well...

Room Tip: Chose one with window to main street or river for nice view. You just need to accept a bit traffic noise in the mornings.
