We had a wonderful stay at the Palace Hotel - amazing breakfast, incredibly comfy beds and the rooms and reception/bar are beautiful. Great views from the 4th floor and and excellent location in town.

The staff were brilliant, incredibly helpful and friendly. We also really appreciated the chill approach of the hotel to people having alcohol in their rooms, and even providing ice! Housekeeping team were great in particular.

We were in town for Pride - I've had negative experiences at hotels before as part of a same sex couple so it was an excellent bonus that noone even batted an eye about that, and several staff made positive comments about us being dressed up for Pride - which was lovely. This sort of thing makes a huge difference to LGBT travellers .

The pool and sauna were also excellent, and if the shower area gets refurbed next they would be perfect.

I also left something at the hotel and they were very helpful in finding in and posting it back. Will definitely stay here again!

Room tip: 4th floor is quietest cause no rooms upstairs. Hotel and staff are lgbt friendly.

I hope that you enjoyed the parade and that we can welcome you back again soon.

Kindest regards,
Aimee

The room was clean and well dressed, the breakfast was good with some scotch fare including haggis, room 505 had a droning sound all night (heaters?) That Stopped this from getting 5 stars. The morning staff had trouble understanding English but got there in the end, would stay again

Excellent location on the River Ness. Easy walk into the main shopping streets and to the railway station. You can also take a lovely walk along the river.
There is a Tesco supermarket and a laundrette close by.
Comfortable bed and pillows but no fridge in room.
Good buffet breakfast.

The hotel is nicely located in downtown Inverness close to restaurants, pubs, the bridges park walk, and a pedestrianized area. The breakfasts are very hearty and room service was was quick to respond to any needs.

Can i start by saying that i do love this hotel and im only given my honest review in the hope of some improvement !! We stopped in for a evening bar meal before going to Eden court and was quite excited about it as the place looks gorgeous but im afraid that's all it's got going for it at the moment. We were initially shocked by the prices £14 for macaroni !!! But maybe it's really good food and service ?? Nope neither im afraid ordered food and a drink both took an age . Food order was warm not hot and definitely not the quality we thought we were paying for and one of us didn't even get his chips with the steak pie so mentioned it and again took so long to get them he had finished the pie by the time they came which is just completely unacceptable. So my recommendation is eat elsewhere ,and im very sad to be saying that very disappointing
