After a short chat with the waiting staff who acted almost as the tourist information and listed the best places to hear live music that night we started with prawn tempura and homemade leek and potato soup. Plenty of prawns and the soup was thick and chunky. The starters were almost a meal on their own!
Main courses were scampi and chips and chicken supreme. Again, the plates were virtually overflowing with food. Both meals were delicious with the only criticism being the chips where some were still slightly hard. We pointed this out to the staff who were very apologetic and offered to either take everything away and sort it or bring a fresh plate of chips. As there was plenty to eat we didn't bother. When the bill came they had taken the price of our drinks off which we weren't expecting or looking for.
All in a great place with friendly, attentive staff. We would go back anytime.
