This place is great! There are many sheep in Scotland and sometimes they'll graze right next to this place. There's a trail behind the house that offers beautiful views. The views that can be seen from the house are also amazing. Karl provided us with plenty of firewood and it smelled really good as it burned. He was also an all around excellent host. For a few miles leading to this house, you drive on a single lane road. It's fun because you have a stunning lake on your left the whole time but you can't look for too long, if you're driving, because there could be sheep in the middle of the road around any bend. They seem to know to move once they become aware of you though. I really had to fight the urge to jump out and hug them as they are adorable. The master bedroom is huge. We were able to put a pack n play in there with PLENTY of room left over. There are various heaters installed throughout the house so you never have to worry about getting cold. I highly recommend this place.
My third visit to this wonderful log cabin. I use it to basically recharge my soul and get back to what life should be about...relaxation and peace.
Surrounded by nature what more can you ask for.
If your looking to get away from the rat race this cabin is for you.
Fort William close for food shopping ect.
The cabin is modern and has a wonderful log burner and nice kitchen.
We were very pleased when we arrived the location is beautiful and the lodge is lovely and very well equipped. The pictures are exactly how it looks and our only complaint was we hadn't booked a long enough stay . Looking through the visitors the book lots of people return and I can see why.
The location is not far from Fort Williams town and has nearby access to shops. You will need a car to get to, but feels not too far (think 5 miles). This is a awesome family friendly chalet with stunning views of the lake and surrounding areas. Thank you Karl (owner) we will certainly book here again!
Incredibly beautiful wooden house, comfortable and lovingly furnished.
There are a lot of wood furniture, stove, a nice kitchen and very large bright rooms.
Beautiful view of Loch Eil. We were greeted by many animals, deer, sheep, owl and many birds. The spectacular nature invites you to go hiking.
Warm welcome and nice contact to Karl was great.
The nicest stay you could ever wish for.
