Nairn is a great location to be based at when planning to explore the highlands.
The host was very helpful and also provided toys for the kids. Well equipped cottages with log-burning fires. The complementary whisky was very much appreciated.

We have just spent a fabulous week in this beautifully furnished spacious property. Our friends booked the other cottage meaning we had the added bonus of huge living room with a log fire at either end.
Ellen Maxwell (owner) was very helpful prior to our arrival - providing us with all of the information we asked for as well as throughout our stay.
From here we visited a couple of Distilleries, Loch Ness and the area surrounding Boath/Nairn. The beach from Nairn stretched for miles which our Labrador Lily thoroughly enjoyed.
Our stay was helped by some decent weather allowing us the opportunity to have a couple of BBQ's. Loads of activity around the bird feeding tables including two very hungry red squirrels!
Would thouroughly recommend this property as a place to stay when visiting the Highlands - our first trip there and would love to return again some day.
