Just returned from a family weekend break in Glasgow staying at Cromlet Farm Chalet. Roberta was an excellent hostess staying up until we arrived late into the night to welcome us. We were very impressed with the chalets facilities, modern, clean and well stocked, including fresh flowers on arrival. The hot tub was a lovely luxury which our family enjoyed a number of times across the weekend. The host family are very welcoming and accessible if you require anything. Ideally situated for Glasgow or Edinburgh and great value. Free wifi and toiletries included. Have recommended to family and friend already.
Note you are on a working farm - great for kids with swing and climbing frame outside.

Lovely stay on the farm; Gordon took the time to show me every aspect of a working dairy farm and Roberta was a caring host with everything thought out and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Views over the countryside and mountains beyond were a wonderful sight no matter what time of day.Would recommend this farm for tranquility and peace away from the noise and bustle of our cities; no parking problems etc. a good nights sleep guaranteed.
Thanks Gordon & Roberta.
My friend and I stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The chalet is spotless, well-equipped and in a beautiful setting. Roberta and Gordon made us feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was lovely to be staying on a busy working farm and enjoyed watching Brewster the Border Collie working hard to muster the cows for milking every morning. In the field adjacent to the chalet are Treacle, the Shetland pony, Molly and old gentle mare and a fully grown sheep - one that didn't get away and is kept as a pet! It's a magical place and we really look forward to returning to Cromlet Farm soon.

Had a lovely weekend with our daughter and two grandchildren. Nothing was a problem to the owners, hot tub and pet sheep was enough to keep the children occupied at night. Central location for lots of places to take the kids
We loved our stay at Cromlet Farm Chalet... The location is perfect for a family with loads of things to do locally; we took the kids to the theme park at Strathclyde Country Park, to a great waterpark called "time capsule" in
Coatbridge, we went on some beautiful walks one of which being New Lanark a world heritage centre with absolutely beautiful views, a breathtaking place. We went to Edinburgh Zoo and saw the Giant Pandas, and to the beautiful Loch Lomond... All of these places were no distance from the accomodation and thus it didn't kill us doing it with four kids... On our return we could relax in the hot tub over looking the fields... We loved the fact it's based on a working dairy farm and being able to show the kids the lambs, the cows, and even the bull (jane) made it an even better holiday. After taking the kids all over the local area nothing we did made them smile as much as their ride in the tractor and the farm quad!!!! Roberta, Gordon and little James are wonderful people and we will no doubt visit again soon.
Myself and and 4 friends stayed for 2 nights , nothing was too much trouble for the owners and would definitely stay again
