The host and hostess couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating! Though the building is older, the furnishings are up to date and very comfortable. From the fresh flowers on each table to the custom-prepared breakfast, every detail was perfect. We would certainly stay here again if we were to be in the area.

I recently stayed at The Woodlea Bed and Breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was still with old furnishings, old bulky tv (not ideal in this modern society, for a comfortable stay) The Hospitallity tray had tea bags coffee sugar which was handy at the bedside, topped off with an old fashioned kettle! Our shower was very tempormental with very cold water rushing through every 2 minutes! The two single beds were quite 'small' single beds. The room became very cold throughout the night with no form of central heating inable for us to turn it up or even on! The breakfast didnt have much choice and came on a small plate, wheres our full scottish breakfast with egg, beans, bacon, hash brown, potatoe scone, black pudding, haggis, sausage, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes? Very disapointing on a days break where you go out all day and want something yummy to fill you up for the day. The lady was genuinely polite and shared a few stories with us, Overall The b & b is ideal for quick outings in perth as the city centre is a stone throw away.

Very small B&B not really a hotel, rooms and beds very small, bathroom good size with bath but no shower, very disappointing in this day and age, had hand held shower head with very tempremental water that would roast you one minute and freeze you the next.
Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast nice and tables clean but served between 8-9am, we were suppose to be on holiday and taking it easy, could have been a bit later.
Handy for the shops, bars etc and quiet location but rooms just too small

Small, plain room and very ordinary (but cheap) dinner. The shower in particular was very exciting – from freezing cold to boiling hot, pulsating temperature in an instant. BUT really wonderfully hospitable people – very welcoming and keen to make us comfortable. A no frills comfortable place to stay where the staff are far and away the best selling point of the property.
