We stayed here for 2 nights while attending a function in the area. It is well equipped and spotless. Hosts Susie and Alasdair are a delightful couple and make you very welcome. Parking is limited and a tight fit but there are plenty of alternative parking places near by.

We spent 3 nights at Scotia B & B. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt right at home. It was a reasonable price for a shared room ( there are 3 of us) and a yummy breakfast is included. Every day we were supplied with fresh towels and our room was cleaned. We had an ensuite, television, wifi, parking and tea/coffee/hot chocolate in our rooms. The breakfast ranges from cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast and a full Scottish breakfast. We enjoyed scrambled eggs and salmon one morning for a change! Nothing was too much trouble. We were supplied with a map, suggestions for day trips and places to eat. We loved this B & B and would always stay here when we visited Perth.

Hi "Jarjar"

Thank you for you review and feedback. I am pleased that you had an enjoyable stay with us and that you felt welcome in our home.

In regard to your comment in regard to the half used shower gels and shampoos I would like to explain our thoughts behind this.
I would clarify that these are full sized gels and shampoos which you would use in your own home and not the little ones which you often find in hotels and B&Bs. We used to provide these small ones which we obviously disposed of daily. In the summer months it is not uncommon for us to have 12 guests per night and we were finding that we were disposing of up to 140 of these little plastic bottles and their remaining contents a week. (10 guests using them x 2 bottles x 7 days)

As you can see the number quickly adds up and we felt that we could not continue to dispose of this number of plastic bottles. We considered various alternatives and believe that the use of the larger "home size" bottles is the best solution. We have been using these for the last 3 years and there is a fraction of the wastage.

I hope that you can understand our reasoning, but we will obviously continue to gather our guests thoughts in regard to this and review our thinking if necessary.

Thank you again for your kind review and thoughts.

Hope that we will see you again in the future.

I stayed at Scotia Bed and breakfast with my kitten for two nights. I came for a meeting. Alisdair, Suzie, and Kay are great hosts. The room I stayed in is small and very nice. We had a lovely view of the main road. It takes a half hour to walk to town each way. There is a very good food shop and restaurant 8 minutes walk the opposite direction. The breakfast of bacon, eggs, and sausage is the best.
Scotia is very booked up at this time of year. It is a great place to stay for a visit to Perth.

Stayed at Scotia in Perth. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Excellent breakfast, well cooked and great choice. Cater for coeliacs. Owners so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble, will definitely be back.
