“Cosy”
Reviewed January 3, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

A very nice wee cottage. My wife and I like to get away every new year, preferably somewhere cosy and private with some nice walks within reasonable driving distance, so the Coach House was just right for our purposes.

Happy to recommend for those looking for a nice low key getaway.

Liked best: Great facilities and very nice layout
Liked least: Very little distance between the cottage and the main house. Loses the sense of privacy. Also the main sofa is a sofa bed, so not the partiicularly comfortable

“A wonderful place to stay!”
Reviewed November 3, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

I stayed here with my husband and two young children, and it really was a fantastic place for a family. Nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and the kitchen had nice range of crockery, cutlery and cooking items which made self catering really easy.

We all enjoyed it, and the boys had great fun exploring outside.

“Lovely autumn break”
Reviewed October 25, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Me and my partner stayed here for a couple of nights mid-October. The place was very clean and tidy and had everything you needed. The area around was lovely - very peaceful. Went to the wee pub nearby for dinner one night and would highly recommend. Would definitely come back to the coach house.

“perfect for a relaxing break”
Reviewed September 3, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The Coach House was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the bread, butter and milk on arrival was very thoughtful and appreciated. The gardens were lovely with surrounding fields, which our dog loved. Easy walks in all directions, along the river particularly pleasant. Very friendly staff and locals at the Inn, which served good food and ales. Perth a short drive away.

“A gem of a property in a perfect location”
Reviewed May 20, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

The property is beautifully presented and in a charming village green location which perfectly suited our need to visit Perth. The owner is attentive but discreet and everything is provided for in the inventory. Local pub across the Green is characterful and provides pub grub 5 days a week. A great find.

“Charming cottage with friendly hosts in a delightful village only a few miles from A9 and Perth.”
Reviewed April 6, 2014 for a stay in December 2013

I stayed in this cosy cottage in the depths of a Perthshire winter to spend some time with friends and family nearby. It has its own private, secluded garden, so would be equally enjoyable for getting together and relaxing in summer. I found it an ideal base for exploring the lovely Perthshire countryside. Although the village has its own shop and friendly pub serving food, the amenities of Perth are only about 10 minutes away by car or bus. I can highly recommend this hideaway, with its helpful hosts, Sandra and Simon, for both couples looking for a quiet getaway or for families with children looking for a secure, but not isolated, location.
