“Exactly what we were looking for!”

We had the pleasure in staying at Kasinga 14th to 17th March 2014 with 3 generations of family (10 persons). We have stayed around Pitlochry on many occasions but this was our first time staying in the town centre. We knew when we had arrived we had booked something special, a truly lovely property. Everything you would need is supplied and more.

The property really is a short walk to the town centre, though slightly longer on the way back uphill. The views from the front terrace are truly stunning. I spent most of my time there enjoying the lovely weather we had and admiring the views. The rooms are well presented with quality beds and bedding. If anyone requires the 2 single sofa beds as we did, as described they are in the sunroom off the dining area. The sunroom actually has a door and blinds so in all intensive purposes it is another bedroom if required or a lovely sunroom with views of the garden and Pitlochry if not.

We just wanted to spend time as a family due to a recent sad family loss, the purpose of our visit but if you want to go into Pitlochry for entertainment there are numerous bars, restaurants and hotels within easy walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to return for a week in June, thank you Shona!

“Excellent accommodation”

This is a really beautifully appointed cottage, with 2 large double bedrooms en suite, and 2 twin rooms upstairs with own bathroom. The standard of facilities was excellent, fresh and tasteful. We were lucky that mornings were sunny, and so could enjoy the sort of sun room too. The instructions were clear and easy to follow for all the equipment. Loved the real fire in the living room, shame though there were no matches, so we had to arrange that. The kitchen was so well equipped, tho we would have appreciated cheese grater and scissors!
Nice location, and fabulous views, lots of space for parking, nice garden to enjoy too. Great facilities nearby, we walked to theatre in around 20 mins, long way round as footbridge closed, and shops just down the road, handy for all.

Fantastic house with everything (well except matches) we would want. Very clean nicely decorated and lots of nice touches- dishwasher tablets, bubble bath etc. Ideal for all ages and great for kids as sun room has DVDs and good selection of games. Will be back!!

“Perfect!!”
Reviewed 12 January 2014 for a stay in December 2013

We had a great break at Kasinga over New Year. The house was lovely and cosy when we arrived and continued to be so throughout our stay. There was always plenty of hot water and the wood burning stove was a bonus.
Kasinga was beautifully clean and very well equipped- from the i pod speakers in the lounge to the potato masher in the kitchen!! Everything was of good quality.
There is plenty parking space and the house is well situated within easy walking distance of the town centre.
Thank-you to the owner for making booking very straightforward and making us feel very welcome. We are already looking forward to a return visit to Kasinga and Pitlochry.

“Fantastic house”
Reviewed 4 September 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We spent 2 weeks in Kasinga and it is without a doubt the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The house is superbly finished and has plenty space whilst still feeling homely. We had a fantastic time and used Kasinga as a central base to travel all over the place.

“Lovely comfortable accomodation in a great location.”
Reviewed 28 April 2013 for a stay in March 2013

I have stayed at Kasinga twice in the last two years in a large group of "girls" ranging rom aged 83 down to 23. Both times we found Kasinga to be welcoming and beautifully comfortable and clean. It has a very well equipped kitchen and a lovely large living room with a dining area which is perfect for large groups. The wood burning stove is a lovely addition.
Having stayed in hotels in Pitlochry in previous years we found Kasinga was very much more suited to our needs as a large group, we'll definitely be back.

“Just Perfect”
Reviewed 25 April 2013 for a stay in October 2012

We stayed at Kasinga for a week in October 2012. There was 7 of us in our party, 5 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. It is a beautiful property, very comfortable and spotless and is in a lovely quiet spot. It has a well equiped kitchen and all furnishings throughout are to a high standard. We really enjoyed lighting the wood burning stove in the evenings - what a bonus!!
The large enclosed garden is beautiful and very safe for children.
The town is just a five minute walk down the hill and Pitlochry has many shops, cafes and restaurants.
We had a fantastic week at Kasinga and would definately recommend it and hope to return again in the future.
