from walking into the place to booking out i can only give the port na craig 10/10
our room had very comfy
suite, king size bed,and REAL
log fire which i light, next morning fire was cleaned out and set to go again
we also had a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, both room and bathroom were spotless
breakfast cooked fresh to order
all ingredients full of flavour
this is a family run business
where nothing is to much trouble it is situated by the riverside with stuning views
worth a visit

visited on easter sunday so it was very busy but staff were very helpful.we sat outside and admired the river view with our drinks. the temperature was a bit cold outside, the lady serving came out and gave a coat to a customer who looked a bit cold and also offered us hat water for tea and hot milk to top up the coffee. excellent customer service!!

Every aspect of the property represented the owners pride of ownership and desire to make a proper presentation. My dinner of fresh caught Scottish salmon over a correct risotto will set a benchmark, and retiring to an inviting, charming, spotlessly clean room, really assuaged my being after a week of travel across Europe. The river flowing next to the property was teaming with salmon, contemplating their next Olympian moment of overcoming the fish ladder at Pitlochry. Oh, and the six inch thick, cloudlike duvet did not hurt one bit.

Tasty food but slow service. However, we booked for 5.45pm and we were out in time for our Theatre booking at 7.30pm, 5 minutes walk away. Pudding had to be sacrificed though !

This was by far the better restaurant for value for money, surroundings and ambience. They do lunches, dinners and coffees. Handy for the theatre or trip to dam.
