Really friendly and relaxed hotel, and the owners, their family and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. The rooms are lovely, breakfasts were great and the recommendation to visit the Abbey to hear the choir was much appreciated.
The train links into Glasgow were excellent.

Room Tip: We had a smaller room at the back but it was more than big enough for two with a standard double siz...

As an ex Buddy I stay in the Ashtree regularly when I visit family and friends, the owners and staff are very friendly, the rooms are immaculate and dinner and breakfast is well presented and tasty.

We decided to stay in Paisley because of its proximity to Glasgow and the ease of getting there by train. We chose the Ashtree House Hotel because of the good reviews it received and are very happy that we did. Paisley itself was a disappointment but the Ashtree House made up for it.
Our room was very large and beautifully appointed with everything we needed. It was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean . The breakfast was superb.
We shall return.

I arrived at Ashtree House late at night in the pouring rain after a long unheated train journey. Even in these circumstances, the house shines out as an architectural gem of a merchant's residence. The welcome could not have been warmer, and the bedroom could not have been more attractive. The owners have managed to pull off a difficult trick of blending heritage and modernity; tartan clearly in evidence (on walls and throws) and original shutters at the bedroom windows all counterbalanced by power showers and wi fi. Breakfast was somewhat clumsy; tables not laid up, no clear indication of what was on offer or how to access it. Suspect the rain had delayed staff arriving and this had bit of a knock on effect. But I had slept very well and had only to stroll down the main street to visit the University of the West of Scotland. My colleagues there had recommended Ashtree Court as 'a lovely wee hotel'. As ever, they were right.

Room Tip: The orginal shutters blocked out light and sound - and look very handsome when you're awake.

Had a nice stay but a couple of things were a bit annoying. We saw a breakfast menu on a table outside our room which offered loads of options. When we arrived for breakfast we were basically told they had a full cooked breakfast and not given a menu or any other options. The house is lovely to stay in and great location just sort out the breakfast arrangement! Plus would benefit from a slightly more formal and organised reception area and not a cluttered office!.

Thanks you are very direct ! Yes you are correct and we will sort out the breakfast menu as you suggested for all days and sorry you were disappointed.
We have just moved the office to its current location so it is a work in progress, it will become over the next 3 months hopefully a reception area you will enjoy and approve off. We are also in progress with our bi-annual decorate/repair/change etc.
We would be delighted to see you again.

what a beautiful hotel, deceptively large hotel with spacious rooms with comfy quality beds and bathrooms. Full scottish breakfast was so yummy and lots of it to set you up for the day.

Room Tip: loft room very large with dressing room, but steep stairs

My teenage daughter and I stayed here when attending an event in The Wynd Centre. The owners were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our double room was spacious, quiet and warm; the bed comfortable. There was a great shower in the ensuite bathroom and the towels were fluffy! The cooked breakfast was good, especially the sausages. The hotel is in the centre of Paisley so handy for the shops or the airport.
