“Excellent Condo”
Reviewed August 23, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

My two sons and I traveled to visit family in August and were very pleased with the Condo in Hamilton. Only steps away from the bus but it you are a walker you can absolutely walk into downtown Hamilton in 30min from the Condo. Lots of local restaurants, pubs etc. also within walking distance.

Amenities were fantastic very upscale and clean. Liz the caretaker was fantastic always very friendly and helpful. If I had one quirk it would be that the pull out couch is not suitable for two adults maybe two small children. I ended up having to sleep with one of my sons the entire time while the other used the pull out couch. Ideally the boy's would have slept together on the pull out.

I would completely agree that the pull out couch is not suitable for 2 adults sharing.
1 adult or 2 children would work perfectly well.
At the time of booking it was not clear these were adult children or it would have been pointed out.
Very happy the family found everything else to their satisfaction.

“Great comfortable stay”
Reviewed July 24, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This flat lived up to expectations. The exterior belies the comfortable and well equipped ground floor flat. There were all amenities required for a very comfortable stay. It has off street parking and secure entry. The area is quiet and there is public transport very close by if required. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom although small was clean and modern with plenty of towels. The wifi was sometimes slow but generally good. The kitchen had microwave, an oven and cooktops with all the necessary utensils. The fridge and freezer were very adequate. Plenty of comfortable seating- lounge and dining. There were 2 wardrobes in the bedroom. There were a few steps up to the front entry. Glasgow and Edinburgh are both about half an hour away. Would highly recommend this property to couples and send a big thank you to the lovely neighbour.

“Will definitely stay here again”

This flat is an amazing bargain when you consider the free Wi Fi and free parking. Also all toiletries were available so all you have to bring is your clothing!

It is a very comfortable flat, quiet and relaxing.
The owners seem to have thought of everything to make their guest comfortable and even pampered.
Soft fluffy towels and high end toiletries. TV DVD player and a wide selection of reading materials are all conducive to making us feel right at home and at a fraction of the cost of a hotel.

This was part business part pleasure trip and for the business traveller is ideal because of the fantastic commuter links, both by car and by public transport.
I had a car but didn't use it all the time as the bus link is so convenient to Glasgow and a car can be a nuisance in a city.
However the location is also terrific for side trips to the coast, the Highlands, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. All can be done as a very easy day trip.
For us north Americans the idea of just driving for an hour and being at the coast is such a treat.
Next day total change of venue and a 45 minute drive will take you to the breathtaking Loch Lomond.Only wish we could have stayed longer!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wonderful Scottish welcome we received.
Nothing was too much trouble.
All questions were answered promptly and we were able to tap into local information as to good places to eat etc.
Fantastic stay. Would definitely stay there again

“Brilliant location, helpful owners - made for a good trip”

A home away from home, from the welcome we received to the quality and variety of amenities available in the flat. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard maintaining a comfortable feel. The bedroom is large with plenty of storage space and a comfy bed. The bathroom consists of a toilet, sink and walk in shower cubicle with electric shower. The kitchen is new with all the appliances you need and a view out towards Glasgow. The lounge is bright and airy again with all the appliances you need and the free wifi is a bonus compared to what you have to pay in hotels in the UK.
We stayed for 8 nights during the Commonwealth Games and were really pleased to have found somewhere so convenient, literally steps away from public transport and free parking.
The owner was one of few to reply quickly to our enquiry for the games and we appreciated that they did not raise their prices exorbitantly for this busy period.
We asked a lot of questions of the owner who offered good travel advice and sightseeing suggestions for our stay. This was helpful as we had to get home from the stadiums late at night. We used the bus from outside the flat to Hamilton Central railway to catch the train into Glasgow and had no problem getting a taxi back from the station late at night. There is also an express bus into Glasgow from outside the flat.
The location is quiet and Hamilton offers major supermarkets, cinema, restaurants and excellent public transport links. We drove to the Trossachs in about an hour and visited Aberfoyle and the amazing Queen Elizabeth Forest Park Visitor Centre.
We haven't posted any photos as the ones provided are accurate and show the flat off well. Can't recommend this flat highly enough, if you like to do your own thing and not be disturbed by hotel staff. The owner is truthful when they say they are just an e mail away. We asked for loads of advice and they were very helpful making our trip stress free and very enjoyable. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Management Response
31 Mar 2014
Although a car is helpful (and there is free parking) there is a bus stop straight across the road with a bus running every 10 minutes to Hamilton Bus Station/Railway Station.
There is also a half hourly express bus which takes you right into the heart of Glasgow in 40 minutes so it's very easy to get around.

If making a longer stay you can purchase day or weekly bus passes or combined bus/train passes which give you unlimited travel. The combined bus/railway pass also allows you to use on the Glasgow subway.
The bus passes can be purchased on the bus (correct money is required) and the combined bus/train pass can be purchased at the Bus Station.
