This is a fantastic little cottage and an ideal base for families with younger children or couples to explore what is a beautiful part of the world. It has everything you need, really, and is on the doorstep of some good pubs and facilities. It's a short drive to a wide range of things to see and do. Owners are great too, they managed to track us down having dinner in a pub when they missed a phone call to them when we needed to ask a question. Recommended.

“Awkward, shabby and noisy.”

The property is well equipped and in a good location for the trossachs however the bedroom is almost in the road and does not fair for a good nights sleep. The decor is far from inspiring and the furnishings shabby to say the least. Watch your head on the sink when sitting on the downstairs toilet and watch your head on the ceiling when rising on the upstairs.

Good size for one or two travelers. There is a futon upstairs for 2 more guests but that would be tight quarters for the kitchen and bath. Possible, but small. Clean cottage that seemed to have everything needed - and I stayed for 2 weeks. The bed was comfy and everything was in working order. Grocery store and restaurants are a short walk down the street. On street parking was never an issue. Would definitely return to this cute cottage on my next visit. I looked at where the property was situated on Google maps and it was helpful to 'drive myself' on Main Street up to where the cottage is.

“Nice cosy cottage”

Dukes cottage was a lovely clean comfortable cottage in a good location for the village and walks for the dog . In my opinion although it does sleep four it would be better for two or three people. The futon bed wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slept in and had it been a few nights that would have been ok but a week as too long. It was well equipped though and the log burning stove was fab on the cold rainy nights . No wifi and phone signal was bad, although I should have checked this before booking it was disappointing there was none.

“The place was excelent”

The cottage was very cosy, nicely equipped, and located in a good spot. We were travelling with two small kids and we were all sleeping very well. The place was quiet but closed to the supermarket and the tourist office and a nice playing ground for kids. The surroundings were incredible and we really enjoyed our hiking tours.
