There is so much to be said about the Imperial Hotel. What an amazing place, but it's the staff that make the stay so enjoyable. They are some of the most nicest, genuine people I have ever met.
Myself and my now wife got married on Sat 20th Feb in the Imperial. We initially planned to get married in a hotel elsewhere in Cork, but due to level 5 restrictions in Ireland, the hotel closed and we were left without a venue a month before the wedding. We rang the Imperial and Lynda was an absolute gem to deal with from the get go and gave us the assurances we needed that our special day would indeed go ahead and be enjoyable. Every last detail was catered for by Lynda and nothing that we asked was ever a problem. Our only regret is that we never met Lynda but as soon as life is back to normal, we will be in to say a proper hello.
On the day itself, things couldn't have gone smoother. We were welcomed on the red carpet by staff members with prosecco where we proceeded into the hotel. The covid guidelines followed at all times. The interior is fab and myself and my new wife got fabulous photos of our day in the main reception area. Sounds weird, but it definitley wasnt. Its a lovely setting.

Jim looked after us all on the night and what a man he is. Nicest guy going and looked after us so well for the night. The food was unreal, shoutout to chef Ed. Nothing left short and any extras we wanted, was given.
Sinead also deserves a mention as she looked after us all the next morning with breakie and her bubbly attitude kept us laughing throughout.
Considering everything myself and the mrs went through on the lead up, I really am delighted in a way our initial hotel cancelled as the imperial turned out to be the best thing on the day.
Thanks so much to all the staff and I am very sorry if I missed anyone in this.
Would highly recommend the hotel in all their aspects. Everything done is done to 100 percent perfection and I can't wait to return when covid allows so myself and the Mrs can celebrate properly with our friends and family.
Thank you Imperial Hotel!
