Tastefully decorated, cosy place, in a quiet, relaxing, yet relatively central part of Dublin right on the canal, recommended for both romantic or business evenings.

Exceptional and especially unconventional cuisine, with a clear attention for detail. Friendly, smiling and professional Irish and French staff. Will definitely return, this time with my loved one.

Went for dinner here last Saturday, had seen the reviews and had high expectations.

The interior has a laid back feel, nice wooden tables and a view of the open kitchen. Service was pleasant and efficient. Location is in a quiet residential area not far from city center.

The food was outstanding, far above what I was expecting. The standard is so close to michellin standards it is difficult to fault. I had the beetroot salad to start which looked stunning and tasted light and fresh. Thee main course was chicken with pees, chorizo and a saffron fondant potato, again very good. The star of the show however was the tonka bean and blood orange panna cotta accompanied by some sort of biscuit, it was divine, one of the best tasting desserts that I have had in a long time.

Watching the staff work you could see this was a well oiled machine, with a sense of pride in everything that was going on.

Overall: This was the highlight of my trip to dublin, highly recommended. Great, great food.

Having been to the sister restaurant The Pearl on the friday we decided to end our stay in Dublin by having a romantic canal walk from our B & B Hotel Number 31, with a Sunday Lunch at Locks Brasserie
All i can say is that the food here is simply divine, imaginative, exciting to view and taste with excellent service that`s not too fussy but just right, just a stunning meal where you can mix and match through a fixed price two course lunch menu (22 Euro) or a la carte, with a total bill of 75 Euro this was fantastic value, better priced than standard eateries in Temple Bar
You don`t feel the need to dress up, although some did, others were just families having a casual lunch
This restaurant will go far, a star or two awaits i`m sure
A lovely way to end our stay

From start to finish this was the best meal my girlfriend and I have ever had. We are both foodies and know when we find something special In a city with alot of overrated places this is by far one of the best. Our starters where exquiset, I had the sweetbreads which simply metled in the mouth and for main we both opted for the steak. A little obvious I know but to say it was heaven was an understatement, could not have been cooked closer to perfection If they had tried.
Service throughout was as attentive as possible without being smothering and all the staff where exceptionally helpful and curteous

We recently dined at Locks Brasserie. For starter I had the Veal Sweetbreads (Ox Tongue) which was delicious. For Main Course we had King Scallops and Hogget (Lamb) again top class only criticisium is its typically French so portions are small. For desert we shared Iced Honey and Whiskey Parfait with honeycomb ice cream. That has to be probably best desert i've ever tried. So yes I would recommend Locks Brasserie
