Didn't stay at this hotel but went to the Irish Nights dance and dinner show. The dinner is 3 course for 29.95 euros and can be booked online. There were some choices for each course - we had appetizers of soup and salad with goat cheese, main course of Irish beef stew, ribs (5 euros extra), fish and chips and bangers and mash, dessert of cheesecake and apple pie. Some of the tables have a tap right at the table, which is convenient for beer drinkers. The bar is open prior to dinner, and you can sit for dinner at 7pm, but the show doesn't start until 9pm...first with about 30-45 minutes of Irish music by a live band (very good) and then the Irish dancers perform. Pretty good show for 29.95 euros!

Dear Guest

I would like to thank you for posting a review of Dinner and Traditional Irish show.

We are very proud of the entertainment we offer and all involved put a lot of time and effort into producing the very best in traditional Irish song and dance for our guests to enjoy.

Our Head Chef is truely an asset to us, she works hard to produce the best in Irish fair and producing everything fresh daily.

I hope that we can look forward to welcoming you again in the near future.

Kind regards

I spent 4 nights in the Arlington, Temple Bar, last week. Got a very good deal from their website as I was staying the 4 nights. The rooms were spotless clean; staff were lovely and there was a very good atmosphere in the hotel.

Breakfast was excellent and an excellent bar, too. Irish music and dancing every night.

The hotel is well located at the top of Dame Street & very accessible to Temple Bar and lots of nice restaurants in the area. If shopping, Grafton Street & O'Connell Street are within a 10 minutes walk. The hotel is only a stones-throw away from the Olympia Theatre so again, a great location if going to a shop there.

Would stay here again & would recommend.

The Arlington is a great place to stay if you want a friendly bar, good Irish cabaret and a full Irish breakfast. I booked online and for the price I was not expecting a whole lot, but I was in for a big surprise. The bar staff(always a good pointer) were excellent, they really seemed to enjoy their work and their cocktails were good value at €5 all day and night, if you could last the pace. The cabaret was enjoyable, if a bit Oirish and the crowd loved it. The crowd was a cosmopolitan mix of European and American with a few Irish thrown in.. Bedroom was good and breakfast excellent. All of this for €63, what more could you want? Will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor are quieter.

Great location just 5 mins walk to Temple Bar, 15 mins to Guinness Storehouse, The staff were great and the breakfast was very good. The hotel bar is a plus. The room was clean and tidy if a little basic. the decor and facilities are a bit tired and dated but I booked and paid about 60 euros per night. The advertised standard rate was around 240 euro. It was worth what i paid but i would have been disappointed if i had paid full price.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of March. The location was excellent. The Airlink 474 bus from the airport drops you off directly in front of the hotel and it is in the heart of Temple Bar. We were able to walk to everything from restaurants to pubs to all the sights. Also, the hotel had a really fun Irish step dancing show every evening. We went on our last night in town. It was a little touristy, but the quality of the dancing and the Irish folk music band was great.

My only complaint was that the staff was not particularly nice or helpful. They weren't rude, but no one was friendly either. It always seemed like we were bothering them when we had a question. Also, when we checked in we were given a check-in sheet that said that breakfast was included. However, when we went to breakfast the next morning, they said that it was not included and that we would have to pay. To remedy the situation, they said they would give us a 20% discount on breakfast for the next day. Not ok. It wasn't our mistake.

Overall, it is an ok place for the price and the location was very good.

Dear guest

I would like to thank you for choosing the Arlington Temple Bar and taking the time to post a review of our hotel, we welcome all comments and reviews.

I am glad that you enjoyed your time in our city. I am dissapointed however that you did not find my team welcoming and friendly we pride oursleves on providing the very best in Irish hospitality and I think this is evident in other reviews we recieve.

If you had booked a Bed and Breakfast rate we would no doubt honour this. I am concerned that the matter wasnt brought to my attention. If we were at fault I am more the happy to rectify the matter.

If you contact me directly I will look into your reservation and take appropriate action.
