Dubliners are looking for value for money these days and Eastwood & Mays is a great place to find delicious food at reasonable prices. They have a value dinner option for two for €49 , which I would commend. I wish they opened for Sunday brunch! A little gem.

I eat lunch here on a regular basis and it is always good. There is a great choice and the food is always fresh. I particularly like that you can get a half and half - a choice of 2 from half soup/sandwich/salad. They have the nicest brown bread. service is friendly but it can get busy so make sure to get there early for lunch!

I dropped in the E & M's on the recommendation of a friend. The servise was very friendly and prompt. The food was excellent with a good choice at very reasonable prices. The chocolate brownies were excellent as was the home cooked biscuts with the coffee which were provided free gratus by Ashlinn. Make sure to try one when there. We will be back

I went to Eastwood and Mays with friends celebrating a birthday in January. The menu is very short, but when all the dishes are good, you don’t need so much choice. I am vegetarian, and had a roast pepper soup for starters, followed by a potato cake with Gubbeen cheese

The food was really nice, but it is the service that raises this restaurant far above the average. Staff are attentive, helpful and create a lovely warm atmosphere at the restaurant. At one stage, some candle wax dripped onto my clothes, and they could not have been more helpful and apologetic about the incident. The restaurant is quite small and on the night there were three other large groups aside from ourselves. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great spot for a celebration, or to catch up with friends. This was my second time to eat there, and I will be back soon.
