We visited at lunchtime on Wednesday. It's a big Restaurant but it was not too busy.
For starters I opted for the pork belly which was very tasty. Our group of 4 opted for the Chateaubriand as a main course to share . The server recommended 250g per person so we opted for one from the chalk board which weighed in at almost a Kilo At approx €175. The server said they could cook it at different rates if we wanted so we asked for half at medium rare and the rest at rare. When it arrived it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing in a natural Jeu. Really very good. The fries to accompany it were fantastic and the black broccoli was beautiful too. Everything had lots of flavour and tasted like I wanted more. Dessert was a take on a creme brûlée and again it was very good.
Service was very friendly although I felt it could have been more on the ball. The water kept running out and was slow to be replenished even after a request to do so. As I said , the place was not overly busy so I think this is something to watch out for. This restaurant is not cheap and everything comes at a price , but I think it is worth the money.
Overall we all enjoyed our dinner in Fade St social and I would recommend it for its flavours and the quality of its ingredients.
