Description: Celebrating Irish food and character, Fade Street Social offers forward-thinking seasonal cuisine and cool Scandinavian-style design. Set within a sprawling 8000 sq ft space, smooth caramel leather benches, chunky gnarled wood tables and quirky art installations are dotted throughout. Alongside a savvy cocktail and beer menu, enjoy delicious wood-fired flatbreads, farm-foraged vegetables and tender braised meats.

Came highly recommended. Honestly, we expected more but what we got was really good without being exceptional. The flat bread is fresh and holds the meats and the veggies well. The wine is pricey and the service is pretentious. All in all, an 8 out of 10 experience, with points for the decor.

We ate in the gastro bar of Fade Street Social which offers small plates and recommends that each person selects 3 dishes at a time. The menu is very interesting and the restaurant is buzzing all of which is lovely but the food, and to be fair you are warned of this, arrives randomly. As and when a dish is ready it all arrives which meant that for 4 of us we had dishes all over the place at pretty much the same time! I enjoyed the food very much and the wine list also offered some good choices but next time I would order 1 or 2 dishes, enjoy them and then order more so that I could relax and eat without feeling rushed. Reservations essential and be aware they do two sittings for dinner.

This is possibly one of my favourite places to eat in Dublin. The menu is so diverse, choosing what to have is the hard part! The food is of the best quality and being able to sit at the table and watch them cook your food adds to the experience. The cocktails are fab as well!

Dear Mr McGrath,
We had a meal at Fade Street Thursday 13 July from 5pm. The floor male (fair haired guy) was profoundly ignorant, sarcastic, unpleasant from outset. The female staff were unhappy and unsmiling. At 8pm we were still chatting when we were upbraided by said male for overstaying our welcome. Restaurant half full.
We spent 500 euro. The food was good. But we will never go there again. And we will advise others not to.
You have a serious problem with staff and it appears the sarcastic male is the problem, and his negative unpleasant style of behaviour impacts adversely on the other staff.
If you are still reading, and if you care about your customers, have a word with this guy about how appropriate his behaviour is toward customers.
I thought it better to inform you directly via email rather than social media. Unfortunately as you chose not to respond to two email, I have had to use social media.
