Description: The Port House is part of a partnership with the Porterhouse Group. They opened their first successful Tapas restaurant in South William Street in 2006, and this was followed by a second in Eustace Street in Temple Bar. They offer a unique and relaxing dining experience for their customers. Signature dishes include gambas al pil pil (seared prawns with garlic chilli and white wine), Basque Pintxos and chorizo al vino from Rioja. They also feature an extensive range of fine wines, ports and Sherries from the Iberian Peninsula, including , Ibéricos, the only Rioja produced by Torres which is one of the main pouring wines here.

Visited this restaurant for a Christening Celebration. Staff were excellent considering the age group - from the great granny to babies.
Having lived in Spain for 10 yrs - was excited to see what the Tapas selection would be and wasn't disappointed.
Staff very helpful explaining Tapas menu and very accommodating re children's menu.
Choice of Tapas amazing - and none disappointed, Tried some of the basics to check authenticity and lived up to Tapas in Spain.
Will definitely go again when on a shopping trip to Dundrum.

It is our greatest pleasure you that you witnessed how our staff can cater to all generations. We take pride in welcoming customers from all generations. We also take great pride in the authenticity of our restaurants. We have always aimed to keep the theme, food, wine, settings etc as to close to Spain as we possibly can! We look forward to welcoming you back again when you are shopping in the area.

Very disappointming visit to the Port House on bank holiday Monday. While the staff are lovely the food was luke warm and the portions were unbelievabley small and consequently overpriced. Such a pity because its a lovely place and we used to make a point of eating here as a special treat. Wont be returning.

We are extremely disappointed your latest dining experience with us wasn’t as you hoped it would be. We apologise profusely that your dishes were not served hotter than expected. We do hope that you will return once again when we can provide a more pleasurable dining experience for you.

Had been meaning to try it out and when I did at weekend I must admit I was disappointed

Firstly there were no croquettes on that day despite a big section on menu devoted to them. Bad start. Ok then. We ordered the meat balls(v poor), iberico small sausages(v good), iberico ham(good but hard to go wrong given it is not cooked) chicken paella(ok but chicken too dry) and ribs( poor- v v fatty).

Overall just ok but maybe just a bad day given previous good reviews

We regret that your dining with us was less than standard. It is very unfortunate that you experienced such issues. We can assure you that this is not a true reflection of our restaurant and we have noted all of this feedback and greatly appreciate the same. We do hope this won't deter you from visiting us again.
