myself and 4 friends rented an appartment for 1 night for a concert we were going to. the appartment was small but it did the job. the rooms were very modern and clean. the price was reasonable and location was close to temple bar.

We stayed a full week at Christchurch Hall, with 2 two-bedroom apartments for 7 of us. We had previously stayed at St. Augustine Apts, and were disappointed that we could not get in there, but were very happy with the outcome. The location was fantastic - south of the Liffy, easy walk to all attractions, great parking (not that you need a car, but we ventured out of the city a few days) at St. Augustine a short walk away, and well appointed.
There is no dishwasher at Christchurch Hall as with St. Augustine, but no big issue there.

I have just come back from a stay at the Christchurch Hall Apartments in Dublin. I stayed here for 2 nights with two friends. We originally booked the Albion apartments but they were shut for refurbishment so got moved here by StayDublin.
The apartment was in a great location to see al attractions, the hop on hop off bus stop is about 2 mins walk from the apartment.
There were a few little bits that could have been better. I booked the transfer from the airport and the day before was called to say they had been cancelled as the bus had broken down and had to pay for a taxi both ways to and from the airport. The windows were leaking a bit of water onto the windowseal. Other than this the apartment was clean and tidy lots more space than a hotel room and for half the price.

We were transferred to this accommodation at the last minute. We were very happy with it. It was very clean and a great location within walking distance of all the Dublin attractions.

However, it isn't particularly well equipped for self-catering. There were no baking trays and no chopping board. There weren't even enough teaspoons. Also we could not get the washing machine to work and there were no instructions.

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side are on a busy road which can get quite noisy.

This was a last minute booking on our part, as we decided to head to Ireland for a night on our vacation in Wales, UK. This was one of the better deals we found, and for good reason. It was easy enough to find the apartment complex, and get into our room. This is a locked building, and you better have your confirmation with you, because that has the code to get in to your building and then another code to get your room keys from a lockbox in the unattended lobby.

The place was just okay, no air conditioning while we were there, and the paint was chipping. However, there was someone starting to paint the hallways when we left. The rooms were small and warm and the bathroom was very disappointing.

But overall, it was one night! I would not choose to stay here on an extended stay, but it worked for what we needed. Do not expect a hotel feel with this place, because it is an apartment building.

No staff, no lobby, and nothing really for your convenience. I recommend paying a little more and finding a different spot.

Room Tip: Find one with air conditioning

Compared to other appartments (i.e. Saint Agustine) they were much cheaper and seemed to be as good. The distance to the center is not such a big walk. Be careful if you intend to sleep on the coach that the appartment has since it is quite uncomfortable. Luckily they gave us a bigger appartment than expected, and also luckily we had a balcony to the front. Bathroom is also OK, just could be a little better. But for sure I would come back here next time. PD: It even had a hair drier, and iron, which was very good for my girlfriend...

Good location, close to everything, good price, lots of room for 2 couples. A few minor complaints like the door hinges were squeaky enough to wake everyone, no extra pillows for the bed, no coffee maker, toilet handle broken, light-bulbs out, hard mattress. All minor things but they add up to only an average stay.
