Went to the show last night and it was excellent. Staff were excellent, friendly and very quick. Thank you Martina. The fair city guy was brilliant, very funny good oul dublin banter. Al was hilarious, I'm a huge fan now. Laughed the whole night. Great night all round.

So, me & my 9 x BFF's decided we would have our "Christmas Nite Out" up in Taylors Three Rock on Friday 2nd Dec. For €55 you got a 3 x course meal, Comedian Al Porter with a Live Band, DJ & Late Bar. To sum it all up it was a terrific night!!!

Our lovely waitress "Martina" (same name as moi lol) took our orders, you had a choice of 3 x Starters and either the traditional Turkey & Ham Christmas dinner or Salmon for the Main...I went for the Seafood Chowder as my starter & Salmon for my main (me loves the Fishes lol) and both were delicious...the dessert was warm mince pies & cream...yum yum!! Everything was really tasty & served hot!!

The warm up Comedian was yer man who plays Cathal in the soap Fair City & I have to say he was very good...lots of Dublin jokes as well him telling us how people stop him in the Street and say..."isnt that yer man from Fair City....you're a P**€k"...lol...only in Dublin...eh?? The band was on after that fella & they played all my favourites...tonnes of ABBA, 80's, 90's & lots of Floor fillers. They also did a bit were you had to guess the song by the guitarist playing just a few notes...that was fun...spot prizes were handed out...oh and I won one😊😊😊yippee!!

Al Porter came on after 11pm and we were all in flying form at this point...he is just tooo funny😂😂😂😂tonnes of one liners and lots of innuendo!! If you are easily offended, then you wont like his style...but if you've seen him on Living with Lucy or The Brendan O'Connor show or seen him before, you'll love him!!

So all in all it was a cracking night🎄🎉❇the gals & I were a "little bit delicate" on Saturday to say the least....but we all thought €55 for our Christmas Night Out was brilliant!!

We ate Sunday lunch in the farmhouse bar. Waited for fifteen minutes to order food. Had to ask them to clean table after another diner. I asked for a vegetarian option and was told it was a vegetarian burger. The waitress when I asked what was in the burger said she didn't know as she was not a vegetarian! I requested again what was in the burger and she agreed to ask the chef. My Boyfriends meal was cold, they reheated it upon request with no apology. His Yorkshire pudding was burnt. Nobody enquired how we found our meals. Mine was fine, bland but edible. Wasn't asked if we wanted desserts, tea or coffee, had to go to bar to pay as there was no service really. Would never go back despite the low price (10euro per Main course).

Stayed the night before heading out on the Wicklow Way. Kind of over priced. Clean room but they could use better mattresses. Grocery Store close by.
