I sat next to a lady who is a Londonite but lived in Dublin for many years. She got me into a conversation about my husband's and my travels and actually took us off the bus and walked us to Trocadero's door. The theatre menu €30 per person, three courses, was definitely worth it. I had a 9 0z. sirloin, husband had duck. Although the sirloin was not the best ever in terms of tenderness, like everything else, it was beautifully prepared. Desserts and appetizers had interesting flavorings. Drinks were perfect. It's a place where locals seem to like to meet for special occasions. Staff were excellent.
