Heard from others that the Dingle Peninsula offers same views as Ring of Kerry but with less people and boy were they right. We started the drive in Dingle and maybe passed 2 cars the entire ring, It's much shorter than the Kerry Ring but the ocean views and the lovely towns and friendly people made is one of the highlights of our trip. We took the Rick Steve's book along and I read about scenic points along the way -- we learned a lot about Irish history, the potato famine, stone walls, stone houses....it was incredible!

We had been looking forward to this drive but it far outweighed our expectations. The scenery was just incredible and we were very lucky with the weather which afforded stunning views and visibility. The road was very narrow in places but worth every kilometre.......unmissable if you are in Ireland. Dingle is a lovely town and really vibrant with plenty to offer everyone.

We visited the Dingle peninsula when on a coach tour despite the mist coming down halfway round the scenery was some of the most beautiful and breathtaking I've ever seen truly superb!

Dingle has it all: A beautiful harbor. great restaurants & pubs, good shopping, the Dingle Peninsula drive with it's Beehive Huts, spectacular cliff views and the gorgeous sandy beach at Ceann Tra. There's even a jazz club (Blue Zone). Would definitely return to the Dingle Peninsula!

Drove around the Dingle Peninsula. The view was beautiful. The weather was cold and windy but hey, it was Ireland!
