Check in was quick and efficient (be warned - the hostess is a chatterbox, which we loved!).
Room was clean and comfortable.
Irish breakfast was very nice, bacon cooked to perfection & decent sausages.
We were only in Ireland for two nights for a wedding, so didn't really get to see much of the local area, but from what we saw of it was stunning.
Only little gripes that stopped this being a 5 star review - one of the taps in the bath was broken. There was mention of a shower screen in the information booklet but there wasn't a shower screen anywhere, and there was a crusty old leather armchair in the room with half of the leather peeling off - throw it out!

Room Tip: Room 15 had nice views over the fields and mountains

The view outside our window was breathtaking. It really immediately made you feel at peace and truly that you were in Ireland. We had the full Irish breakfast the first morning which was delicious and eggs and bacon the second morning which was just as good. The owners were super polite and welcoming, made you feel at home. Feel free to ask them about tours and services around town. I had the impression they know everyone. Made our second and third night in Ireland magical.

Room Tip: Get a room on the back of house to get that wonderful view

Recommended by a previous B&B and met all expectations. The B & B had put together a booklet that was extremely informative of the area and although our stop was to short to take in the activities offered it is defiantly on the list of places to return to on the next visit for access to great hiking/walking routes and fishing. Oh... and only a few steps to a great pub and Trad music.

Most wonderfull place to stay if you want a great view.
Nice welcome from the host and husband where very friendly.
They give us some good advise where to go to and the man organised us a
jaunty ride through the gap of dunloe at a very reasonable price.
Suggestion.......choose for once the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs......delicious!

This B&B is all about location. It is at the edge of the park, and is walkable to trails and restaurants. The hosts and the facility need some rest and relaxation. The shower design flooded the room. The beds were well worn. The sheets were very unpleasantly stained.

My husband and I stayed here during our trip to Ireland this summer. The rooms were very nice and well kept. Nora was super helpful and friendly and gave us many itinerary suggestions. She had so many great tips we actually changed our plans and were happy we did! We took a cart ride through the Gap of Dunloe with John and this was a wonderful experience as well. This is such a nice, quiet, scenic location and I'd definitely go back again!
