I was looking for accommodations for 25 people and found this gem! It was a great way to keep the group together. Every night we would gather in one cottage and reminisce about the great times we had. There was plenty of room.

I was impressed with cottages themselves. They were very clean and had everything you needed. We had a few issues with the hot water but John took care of it right away.

A trip into town for groceries was very easy. If you didn't want to drive it was roughly 10 euros by cab into town. We were there for a bank holiday so be warned that cabs stopped running because of the traffic.

I would definitely come back.

We had a great stay in this cottage for four days. The house was very clean and well-equipped and the surrounding was beautiful. The hosts were also very friendly. Just perfect! I can really recommend these cottages!

Myself, my fiancée and our little boy spent a wonderful 4 days at these cottages last October. The owner couldn't do enough for us. The cottages were so quirky and my little boy was so comfortable here in comparison to been stuck in a pokey hotel room. It was a great base to visit all tourist attractions in Killarney and we will definitely return .

Spent three nights here. It was a perfect base for touring Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Space for 8 to sleep, and cottage had everything that we needed. Everyone was sad to leave.

John was a perfect host and was able to answer all questions. And he was a perfect person just have a chat about the local area and the farming and anything else you were curious about it. He even coordinated having my son's backpack shipped to our next destination which he forgot at Cahir castle an hour and a half away. He let my younger kids feed his newborn lambs every morning and night, and we coordinated our schedule around this.

Wonderful time. Wish we didn't have to leave.

Just back from another fantastic week in the killarney Lakeland cottages. In the last 3 years we have been 5 times and have stayed in all 3 types of cottages.

The Dinis cottages sleeps 6/7 people. Has 3 bedrooms one double downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs with a double and single in both with a extra bed in the landing. The main bathroom is downstairs with a shower and toilet upstairs. A good space for the living room and kitchen with all the facilities you need.

Torc cottage can sleep up to 4/5 people. a double bedroom downstairs with an ensuite. Upstairs there are well bedrooms one with 2 singles and the other has one single bed. The main bathroom is downstairs. Living room and kitchen are big enough for 4/5 people and again all the facilities needed for the kitchen.

Kileen cottage is the biggest of the 3 types and it sleeps 6/7 people but there is enough beds for 8. Downstairs there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and upstairs the 2 bedrooms had a double and a single bed again with full ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there is a decent size living room and dining room table and a separate good sized kitchen again with all the facilities needed. There is also a separate downstairs toilet.

There is a TV and free WiFi in all the cottages.

Outside there is plenty of room for kids to play safely on bikes or football and plenty of space to explore. There is a newly refurbished small park. The grounds are gorgeous with lovely views of the national park.

Would definitely recommend the cottages for anyone looking the cottage feel for a holiday with added bonus of the killarney national park a short distance away. John the owner is very friendly and extremely helpful with anything you need.

Dog friendly accommodation.

Can't wait for our next stay
