We had a one night stay and wish we were able to stay longer. Kilkenny is such a charming and beautiful city and Yvonne was a charming and helpful host. The in room breakfast is tasty and filling with yogurt, fruit, bread, etc and it is a nice option so that you can eat on your own schedule. The room is spacious and the king sized bed was a special treat! The b&b is very centrally located and parking is very close and validated for your stay, which is awesome.

We enjoyed our stay here. There is a lot to do in Kilkenny and we only stayed one night---not long enough. The rooms were clean and comfortable and owner was helpful. The breakfast was in room/self serve: soda bread, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea were provided. We would stay here again. We enjoyed music at Matt the Miller's.

This is a very affordable and comfortable B&B. It's location could not be better. The owners are helpful and not pushy. If you are looking for elegance, this isn't it but it's a very friendly, lovely place. Very clean. Right around the corner from Kilkenny Castle!

Room Tip: Try for the ground floor. No elevator and luggage must go up a long set of stairs.

Our stay was perfect. Steps from downtown but very quiet. Our room had a king bed and was off the courtyard. Breakfast included local yogurt cereals fruit and fresh orange juice. Wonderful! We certainly would come back again.

We just stayed at Butler Court for four wonderful days. It was outstanding! Perfect location right in town so it is very easy to walk to all the sights and great pubs, restaurants, and shopping. The courtyard arrangement means there is no traffic noise. Hosts Yvonne and John are so gracious, welcoming, and fun; they bend over backward to help with every need. The rooms are beautiful and immaculate. Bo, the dog, rules the courtyard and is extremely friendly and sweet. If you are driving, do not worry about parking -- the hosts pay for you to park in the very convenient car park which is clean and safe (because everything is so close, you really don't need the car for Kilkenny anyway unless you are going out of town).
