Mary Mcavoy runs the Cross Garden, which is atop a hill, overlooking the the Irish Sea, which is a short walk away. It is just south of the fishing village of Clogherhead.
Mary does not have a computer, so call her to schedule, and she'll put you in her "book".
It is a lovely modern, but comfortable, invitingly warm, and spanking clean B&B, with incredible views of the Sea. It was quiet when we were there, and our room was quite sufficient. We did not have an ensuite room, but the bath was quite large, with lots of hot water. There are, however, ensuite rooms available.
The breakfast room is downstairs, and her breakfasts are plenty to keep you going thru the morning. She offers the usual Irish breakfast, coffee, fruits, cereals, or porridge, if you wish.
Her front lawn is filled with flowers, and the landscaping is delightfully well kept.
Thanks to Mary's good and plentiful advice, we had a wonderful meal nearby, walks on the beach, and saw the surrounding countryside, away from the big cities.
