Miserable weather so went out for lunch! Very busy pub, warm atmosphere and staff very friendly. We got the last table in the bar. The meal was beautiful very very hot! You could 2 or 3 courses. We had 2 and were stuffed! Nice garlic mushrooms. Followed by pork, lamb or beef plus more choices. Enjoyed it very much!
Service was excellent. Thankyou

It is several years since my last visit to the Harrington Arms as I thought the food had gone off. However, on a recent trip to Derby to visit family we decided to try it again. We were certainly not disappointed this time. Friendly, quick service and food piping hot. I had lasagne, which was homemade and very tasty, as was the homemade coleslaw. Hubby had ham, egg and chips. Plenty of ham and ‘proper’ chips. Very good sized portions too. Our faith has been restored in the Harrington Arms and we would definitely return if in the area again. If I have a criticism at all, it’s that the car park needs sorting out - full of pot holes!

Yep - there’s many places that does a carvery/Sunday lunch, but no one, in my opinion does it better than the Harrington Arms.

We had the Pork and it was epic. Amazing crackling, way too much veg and Bass served out of a jug - what more could you want?

Really great service, perhaps? Yeah - they’ve got that too. As for pudding - we always end up taking some home as we can never finish the dinner portions!

Needless to say, the Lemon meringue tart is so refreshing and delicate. A lovely, village pub.

Amazing all fresh cooked on the premisses food. The beef carvery was amazing, so much meat and it was all cooked to perfection along with amazing taste. The roast potatoes were out of this world and the sides that came with them, well just soo good and i was surprised to see home made cauliflower cheese served with it. So yes its Toby Carvery prices but boy do you get a treat, the puddings were all clearly freshly made and were amazing quality.

I shall be coming here in the future as a treat as its well worth the money, the staff were all rushed of their feet as its clearly popular but were all very polite.

I think the owners should pat themselves on the back and ensure ALL of their staff are thanked and rewarded well.
