This is a Premier Inn which is much the same as any other. You know what to expect and that's what you get. Clean comfortable room, a good night's sleep and a great breakfast.
Only downside was finding the entrance to the car park! Not well signposted. Coming from the M1 we drove straight past it. Had to double back. Needs to be sorted really

Hotel was great, location was ideal. staff were lovely and hardworking. Waited over an hour for breakfast (pre booked time) and did not have time to finish it.
Evening meal was good, we did wait for a while, but had the time to wait and get a drink.
Air con would have made a big difference. Had to have several fans going but still stuffy and hot, bathroom fan super-noisy and oddly wired into the main room heating system fan, Quite clean but a bit dusty, internet is free but totally useless.
You get what you expect from a budget hotel, clean and comfy room, food available nearly on site if required, wifi is not constant and drops out a lot so if you're wanting to work you may have to pay for the upgrade, the location is not very pretty shall we say, i have a high end car and was concerned when leaving in car park, especially as during my visit there were travellers parked on the grass verge on entrance into hotel car park. Not the fault of the hotel, but none the less a little worrying. The area looks ready for rejuvenation, there is a derelict showcase cinema immediately opposite - come on Derby, get this area sorted out!
I spent 3 nights here. I can’t fault the staff; they were all brilliant and doing the best job possible under covid restrictions. A special mention to the young chap on breakfast duty - he was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The room was as you’d expect; clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit weak but that wasn’t too big as issue. The not so good bit: I decided to eat in the restaurant for my first night. I chose the chilli non carne (over a tenner) and couldn’t believe the tiny portion of microwave type meal put in front of me. Ridiculous and tasteless. Decided to go for the mini pud and coffee as I was still hungry. The brownie was the size of a cheese triangle (another fiver). The Premier Inn was great; The Oasthouse/Table Table was truly awful.
Just spent a couple of nights here the hotel is what you'd expect from a premier inn spot on.Had evening meal and a few drinks in the restaurant both nights and staff were very attentive and helpful..
