As a family and when it's just the two of us, we love this place. The food is amazing particularly their special dishes with the banana and mango in them. When we have takeaways they always arrive on time and piping hot and the complementary baji or poppadoms are very welcome! Families are made to feel welcome in the restaurant which has a cosy feel to it. We order from here time and again and will continue to do so.

My partner and I have had a few takeaways from Spice of India in the past which have been rather nice so we decided we would try the restaurant. From the outside it doesn't look very impressive at all and there is no designated parking but plenty of estates and various other car parks near by so this isn't really a problem.
We were the only people in there for most of the night but unlike other restaurants, it didn't feel awkward or like we were asking for too much, we both felt very welcomed. The waiter was very polite and accommodating and made our experience a very pleasing one. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our meal, we both had 2 alcoholic drinks each, starters, mains with a side each and a naan bread and desserts and this all came in at around £50. Very impressed. Food was gorgeous, service was incredible. Highly highly recommend.

B&B owner recommended this indian restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The Food was freshly cooked and very tasty. I chose a dish listed as med/hot and the kindly cooked it to med only. Highly recommended and will be going back again on my next trip to telford

Worst Indian we have ever had.
Chicken tikka masala and tikka chicken korma contained whole cashews - menu only states ground almonds and coconut powder - and currants which were also not stated in the menu.
Curries were more like soup with a few small pieces of chicken in (so much liquid in the kormas that there's enough for another two meals left in the tubs!).
Naan bread was soggy, chewy and completely flat. Poppadoms were crushed to pieces when they arrived.
Manager could only offer us 10% off our next Just Eat order because we used that website, very disappointing and not acceptable. He also asked us to return our meal - defeats the object of a takeaway no??

Save your money or go elsewhere!
