Great new rooms with ample room and huge TV on the wall , big bath and power shower .
HOWEVER its not the cleanest hotel that we have stayed at but not the worst but it is still good value with a beefeater next door which serves good food

Room tip: get a room in the "new extension "

I have been staying at Premier inn hotels for a fair few years and on the whole they're bang on the money, but not this time. I booked a family room at this hotel and paid a nonrefundable price only to turn up on the day to be told they had run out of family rooms. We're are a family of four and ended up in a double room. We would have demanded a refund if we could have found another hotel but they were all booked.

That takes us to the next point, I paid £100 a night for the room despite booking three months earlier. I guess Premier Inn were making the most of a busy weekend in Telford. I was attending an event in Telford and chose this hotel for the location. Some of the hotels nearer to the event location were fully booked so had to settle for this one. But for £100 you can enjoy a luxury stay elsewhere.

We were made to have breakfast at 7am because the more convenient time slots had been taken and Beefeater could not cope with the pressure. I have stayed at many hotels at big events and have never experienced anything quite like this. We slept poorly at night because there was hardly any space between the beds as you can see in the photos, and had to rush off to breakfast when we weren't hungry.

We're back in Telford soon for another event and I am not so sure that we'll be staying at this hotel.

Stayed for one night while visiting family. The staff were friendly, welcoming and really helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with all you could hope for from a good chain hotel. Bed was super comfortable and put our own to shame! Lenny Henry certainly isn't lying!
