We live locally to The Deanwater and were so pleased when they re-opened. We went for Sunday lunch and it was fantastic to see Barry and his fabulous team! The lunch and ambiance were as always wonderful, the staff were meticulous with cleanliness. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Great check-in very helpful and friendly (well done Dianne). lovely setting and great room with bags of space + very clean and well appointed. Massive car park too. The food was great and home cooked (compliments to the chef). Customer service was excellent from everyone. Well done Deanwater.

12 of us went for New Year's Eve. One of the best New Year's Eve we have had. From arriving and having a glass of Presseco and nibbles and a four course meal and coffee and mints, to going home with a bacon buttie it was a brilliant evening. All the staff and the DJ were excellent. Thanks for a great evening.

These folk have got the art of serving a varied three course meal to a large group off to a tee. The food is excellent and piping hot. The service is fast and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and the price is reasonable.

The only complaint is not enough parking at the front. Parking at the rear and walking round to the front in heavy rain is not the best.

Stayed for two nights. As soon as you get to check in they want you to pay for your accommodation upfront and in full, in my case two nights. No mention of a welcome to the hotel just ‘ what name are you booked under’. Perhaps they know the hotel is so average you won’t pay when you leave. Food canteen quality and overpriced. Breakfast chaotic and allow an hour as service is so slow. Rooms single glazed and cold. Best thing was a really big car park and leaving ( without a ‘ did you enjoy your stay ‘ of course. )
