Good day out, but expensive, £25.50 per adult. But you can come back for free during the year.
Has been rebuilt many times since the 1200s and mostly 19th and 20th centenary
Bird display worth seeing
Free parking

Education day out with the family at Leeds Castle.
The grounds are gardens stunning and the staff members friendly and very informative, especially on the Castle tour. Even though it was raining there was still plenty of activities on and it wasn't too busy for a Bank Holiday. We paid for the annual ticket price which is great value and will be back again very soon.

we visited in 2014 with my family.
It is excellently being maintained, clean surrounding and there is mini cafe if you want to grab a quick bite.

Varied day- falconry, circus school and performance, wildlife, castle.... all good in their own right and gave a full and engaging day.

We’ve seen better example of most- circus too basic for our 5 and 10 year old gym regulars, comment from elder daughter was she would have liked more varied birds at the falconry ( knowsley much better). However, as a package in addition to excellent castle itself, it was a great day.

Lot of people took their own food- understandable as £4 for a sausage roll seems steep for pretty average greggs style product. Friends spent over £50 feeding 2 adults and a toddler in the restaurant too which certainly didn’t warrant the price.

Entry price about right, especially when kids go free for the day-but wouldn’t have wanted to pay that for the castle alone.

Would have been 5 stars if food had either been premium quality or more realistic price.
