Really friendly team offering a lovely reception. Food was just perfect for our short stop - cake, scones and lovely coffee. Wished we could have stayed for lunch, but tables were reserved, so next time I will phone ahead to book a table.
In addition there is the fabulous farm shop...lots of goodies for sale as well as essentials! So you get get supplies for a picnic.
We often are on the A1 M...why would you stop on a soulless service station? It’s 2 minutes from the A1.
Some outside sitting, so the dog can stretch their legs too.
A really lovely place, we were really pleased to have found it.

Early start driving north from London stopping at the usual service stations for coffee and needed to get off the motorway to make a phone call when I came across this cafe less than a mile off the A1. Only had space and time for a coffee but watched enviously as most other customers stuck into their big full english breakfasts which looked delicious. After coffee called into the lovely farm shop and got some excellent meat to barbecue fresh from the farm. Friendly staff, reasonable prices - a great find!

Full English breakfast, not the cheapest but really good quality sausages and bacon so well worth it! Followed by trip to the deli to stock up on quality snacks for tea!

Having been on business in nearby Thurnscoe, we were looking for a pit stop fpr a cup of tea and some thing to eat. When we came across the Marr Grange Farm shop almost alongside the A1 trunk road. The tearoom/cafe is very well laid out and the staff very polite and friendly. On looking at the menu we decided on the full English and lite breakfasts. We were not to be disappointed, with the food well cooked and hot. There is a good range of teas and coffee's available, I settled for a pot of Yorkshire Tea.
All the prices are very reasonable. After our food we went into the superbly stocked farm shop but that is saved for another report.

We visited the farm shop to purchase some cooked meat which is always very good quality and decided to call into the tearoom for a drink. We hadn’t been to the tea rooms previously. We were warmly greeted by a very nice and friendly lady who came to take our order. Our intention was just to have a drink but decided to order lunch. There were plenty to choose from the special board. We had the beef stew with dumplings mashed potato and braised red cabbage. It was absolutely delicious. As we ordered two pots of tea the lady suggested that should she bring one pot to share first and then bring the second one when we were ready so that it didn’t get cold and stewed. What a good idea that was as there is nothing worse than cold stewed tea.We couldn’t manage any sweet as we were stuffed.Great service amongst great surroundings. We will return soon.
