Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend for a weekend away . Hotel is in close proximity to the printworks so good for taxis £3-4 or a brief walk if you fancy , however the hotel itself is very average and I'm surprised at the star rating and the price ! It's not different to a premier inn or holiday inn , the room was ok but the bathroom was tired looking and the grout in the tiles were all black which isn't a issue but in a 4:5 star hotel you don't expect this and to be honest it shouldn't be like that. Hotel was always tidy and the smoking area is nice. Wouldn't really recommend if I'm honest.

Hi Lucy B,
Thank you for your review. It is of course disappointing to read that we didn't manage to impress you. I do hope we will have a second chance and we will be able to change this first impression.
Kind Regards
Marius

Stayed here for one night whilst on business, great room, clean, tidy and with all the extras that you need, full tea facilities, iron, 'Dove' soap in the bathroom etc . The bed was comfortable and the temperature in the room responsive. However, the whole experience was let down by the breakfast, it was served in a strange area to the side of the hotel reception with no 'smell' of a welcoming breakfast or fresh coffee. The buffet style food was cold and uninspiring. Would recommend the hotel but go into Manchester for a proper English Breakfast!!

Stayed after watching an event at the arena. Stayed in twin room with my daughter. Hotel only 5mins walk from arena. Check in was quick. Room very clean with good shower. Ordered room service before going out and it arrived promptly . I ordered natchos for one and the portion was huge and my daughter really enjoyed the pizza. Beds were comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning again.

We stayed at the Park Inn for one night to attend a concert at the very nearby arena. We paid more than we usually would for the convenience of location. Was it worth it? Well, err, hmm, sort of. The staff were very pleasant and the check in was fast. The rooms were contemporary and well finished. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. We used the spa facilities, and these were excellent with a lovely pool (slightly colder than we like), a steam room and sauna. Fantastic! So what's the problem? It was the cooked breakfast. It had to go down as the worst we have ever had at a hotel. The bacon was barely cooked, and there was just not enough of everything to go around. Breakfast involved waiting for bacon, eggs, sausage, and cutlery. They were never available at the same time! On the other hand, the range of serials and fruit salads/ yoghurts was very good. If you can get a deal at the hotel then go for it. If your paying full price then I am sure there is better value to be found.
