After reading reviews we were a little nervous but these were unfounded. Myself and 2 friends arrived at the hotel Saturday morning having booked 2 twin rooms on a spa package for my 40th bday. We were not expecting to be able to check in but wanted details of the spa etc. The ladies on reception were friendly and professional and we received a warm welcome. On checking our details they frowned but when I told then I had spoken to a man earlier to explain it was my 40th they were all smiles and said that explains it. We were asked if we minded 2 doubles instead of twins which we agreed to and they told us our rate had changed and we had been upgraded to superior rooms on the 6th floor. Our room rate had been significantly reduced even though we were upgraded and we received drinks vouchers.
We went to see the rooms which were simply lovely. Three of us could lay comfortably in one of the beds without being cramped.
We then went down to the spa and got our robes and towels and were presented with a voucher for 25% off our lunch. We changed and lounged round the pool which was very relaxing. The pool was a good temperature and we enjoyed the steam room and sauna. We then went for our 50 minute treatments which we all enjoyed and we spoilt by the girls. After we got water and a glass of prosecco and a box of chocolates each which was a lovely touch. There were a good selection of magazines around the pool if you just want to lounge
We then went for lunch..the restaurant which while busy didn't feel overcrowded and the staff we attentive and pleasant without being obtrusive. Lunch was lovely and filling.
Then back for another lounge round the pool. We then went up to the rooms and a couple of us went for a walk.
We then went down to the bar which again was busy but we were served quickly by welcoming staff. We initially just went for our free drinks but decided to eat but this wasn't an issue and we were well looked after. I even asked for something to be removed from my choice and it was no problem.
We retired back to the room and lounged about drinking prosecco.
The showers and facilities in the room were good and the rooms and hotel were lovely and clean.
Breakfast was very good. Good quality food with a good selection . We especially liked the hot sausage rolls and potato/ sweet potato and pepper mix. Good choice of fruit , cereals pastries and drinks.
All in all an excellent stay we want to return.

Radisson is my go to hotel chain and have always found their hotels to be of very high quality. I was expecting a high standard hotel which is not what I got!
I on arrival I found the staff to be unhelpful. The carpets and foyer appeared unclean.
The ensuite bathroom smelled of stale cigarettes (we don't smoke!)
There is no on site parking, however there is a multi-storey over the road.
The one advantage of the hotel was the location, a few minutes walk from the arena which was very handy.
As a place to rest your head it's ok, however I would not recommend for a holiday break.

Perfect hotel for going to gig at the Manchester Arena.
Comfortable room - great beds - slept like logs.. and friendly service. Fantastic breakfast - everything from full English to croissants, home-made shortbread, fruit salad, all included in room price. Reasonable rates for such a central hotel. Our request for single beds was also met. Only two minutes walk from Manchester Arena. Would use again if attending gigs!!!!

Stayed here with my wife for a night for a spot of shopping and a spa ... the room was great ! Large, clean, modern and great views over Manchester from the tall windows (we were on the top floor) we visited the spa where we used the pool etc followed by hot stone massages which were amazing when leaving we were given chocolates and bottle of water and told to go lay round the pool where the 2 ladies brought us glasses of procecco which was a lovely touch !! The following morning (after sampling the many bars the night before) we headed for a great buffet breakfast ... I am a self proclaimed snob when it comes to a breakfast but this didn’t disappoint with nice bacon and decent sausages !! Would defiantly recommend this hotel
