I am one picky and fussy individual ... I like to think.
Fabulous food and even better service. Bored and alone I asked for a paper and they went out and bought one !!
Can’t fault and honestly the food is very good .

Restaurant took our booking and a few days before told us that because of the size of our group (7 people), we could only eat from a set menu. Not really the Tapas experience we were after so cancelled and booked El Rincon de Rafa.

Booked a table for 10 with a set menu, ensured there would be enough food for everybody. The set menu was in fact shared between three people. The desert, a cupcake sized piece of almond cake, was cut into thirds and supposed to be a 'whole portion.' Really not worth the £35 p/ head price tag.
The food was more an English take on Spanish food and all of it was either over or under cooked.

Very nice upper class tapas restaurant. Service was great very nice warm welcome on a cold wet night.

Food was nice! A couple of things were either abit pricey for what it was or just not quite there. Example the meats board starter was £15 and was expecting a lot more for that price compared to what came.

The fillet steak tapas tasted weirdly more like pork? Think its because this was overcooked and quite bland.

Everything else was lovely and couldn’t complain.

Not too impressed on them adding the service to the bill. You feel abit rude if you ask them to take that off.

Overall a nice meal.

We went for the tasting menu with wine flight and we were not disappointed. All dishes were good with some excellent - shrimp, squid ink croquettes and chicken dishes in particular.
Sherry/wine accompaniments worked well and complemented the dishes. Cocktail a bit too sweet for my taste.
Service very good overall although we asked them to slow down as we felt rushed through the first 2-3 courses and felt as if we were being watched to see when finished.
A good experience. A small restaurant with a good atmosphere.
