I got highly recommended to try The Pasta Factory.

So on Tuesday myself and my son and two nieces travelled from Lancaster to Manchester to try out this new restaurant.

From walking in the door we felt like we were just in Italy. Everything about The Pasta Factory is authentic and the food was quite simply WOW!!

Everybody who loves pasta needs to visit this wonderful gem in Manchester. We will definitely be visiting the Pasta Factory on many occasions in the future.

Thank you for the wonderful service, suggestions and food we received.

An amazing hidden gem just on the outskirts of the Northern Quarter, 140 yds from Shudehill Tram stop.

The atmosphere, I felt like I was back in any of the small restaurants i visited in Italy, the staff had amazing accents and I could listen to them talk about their food all day.

The menu cater for Vegans, Vegetarians and good ole meat eaters like myself. I have the venison ragu, it had a much fancier name that it truly deserved, my friend had the vegan ravioli, both meals were to die for. Nothing is better than a good pasta dish to warm the soul and this did just that.

Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

We both ordered gnocchi and shared the chocolate orange ravioli dessert, both were lovely. Bellini’s were very good and my bf enjoyed the Italian cola. Staff were really friendly although the service was slow.

Service all be it slowish was attentive and whilst some will not like it we were actually interested in hearing from our friendly waiter all about the regions of Italy our menu selections came from.

The food however left us undecided, the food is freshly prepared hence the slowish service and is absolutely full of flavour but we found our meals (venison ragu and mushroom/truffle ravioli) very rich and hard work to finish in spite of the not so big portions.

May pop in again if in the area to give it another go but no strong desire to rush back.

We visited Pasta Factory on a mid-week evening and were wowed from start to finish. We were seated right away and given a brief history of the place and the vision that the restaurant is trying to create and deliver. As vegans we were chuffed to be asked whether we had dietary requirements - no awkward asking for a separate menu. There were plenty of choices for us, including a gorgeous crumble for dessert. The triangoli di funghi was a real hit, with vegan cheese to boot! The waitress who served us was super attentive and even made sure we got to the cinema on time since we'd enjoyed three courses and time had flown. An all-round wonderful experience. Will be back in the near future for sure.
