Lovely place to spend an afternoon out with your family. The play area for kids kept my child busy and made him very happy. It's kind of tricky to find a free spot to park your car though

Worth a tram ride out and walk back to the centre. Lovely parks to wonder around. Sure it would be a fab picnic area in the summer.

A must walk in this beautiful park....to enjoy tranquility and serenity, and the vast green. It also has an interesting small zoo.

Parc de l'Orangerie - A historic Park of the city of Strasbourg. It is located in one of the better neighborhoods of the town, in a close distance from the center, just across Council of Europe. A quiet place to walk, run, enjoy the day, or just sit and read, or take photos. In the middle of it there is a beautiful building, dedicated to Zozefin by Napoleon. A lot of interesting trees and flowers, a zoo, a cafeteria and restaurant and three lakes you can visit, all in the same park. If there is no place for parking on the Avenue of Europe (Avenue de l' Europe), try the Boulevard du President Edwards, which drives directly to the restaurant's parking lot, in the southern of the Park.
In case you visit Starsbourg in a sunny day (!), do not miss the opportunity to take a walk to Parc de l'Orangerie. It is worth it!!

It's a nice park for walk
but i am not sure that effort and time of the trip is worth the visit
Unless you live nearby or your children need a walk in the park
