We arrived as arranged between 3 and 4 pm and were met outside the property by a gentleman who very efficiently showed us how to get in and how to work everything. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has excellent views. It is very central for exploring Bordeaux. We used underground parking close by which for secure city parking was reasonably priced. Trams run directly outside but the noise level was ok. Sweeney Todd over the road was a great location to watch the Lions v All blacks with friendly staff and excellent bacon rolls. The ladies of the party preferred a leisurely breakfast in the cafe adjoining 37. The only negatives were a broken kettle switch which did work but not well and we failed to make a light work in the shower. Overall very happy to recommend to couples. Thank you for our stay.
Laetitia's appartment is just as stunning as the photos show. Furnishings to rival the decorative arts museum up the road! (probably not for anyone with small children though as every surface is full of ornaments etc). The location is incredible, right on the quai by the river and a short stroll to all the central sights around La Bourse. Plus it's at the intersection of two tramlines so you can easily get anywhere. That is also though a downside if you're a light sleeper as the trams are quite noisy. Not a big issue in main bedroom but the smaller bedroom is right over the trams and also opposite a lively pub. The lift doesnt serve the first floor so you do have to use the windy stone stairway- which incidentally is also beautiful.
Laetitia was very helpful online in advance and Sandrine the cleaner was lovely when we arrived.
We loved Bordeaux and we really enjoyed being in this appartment.
