Le Palmarium is a cozy, friendly, laid back restaurant with a happy atmosphere. And their paella is great !
You get what you pay for - not expensive and tasty food !

We visited Le Palmarium a couple of times for drinks then decided we would do dinner one evening. Staff were delightful, very friendly, pizza very tasty. Prompt service, great value for money, atmosphere very welcoming. Will definitely eat here again if in Biarritz again.

Went there for a quick lunch. We were pleased. It was cheap, it was okey. I had a advocate and shrimp sallad which was good. We had to sent out the fires though cause they were overdone and dry. But that was not any problem.

In Port Vieux, nice open air but behind glass restaurant. We ordered mussels, but didn't know what "Veloute" sauce was. Well, what a treat! Best moules ever, and we have probably had them ? 50 times. Meal was 46 Euro, including a bottle of white wine. So what is Veloute sauce? Ours was white, with parsley and a hint of anise. Wikipedia says the chef Escoffier called Veloute one of the 5 "Mother sauces", the most famous being Bechamel. Can't wait to have Moules et Frites again!

We had a quick take away pizza on our trip, it was great! However, the next day ordered the same exact thing and it was average. Was sooo hoping for the pizza we had the first time, but it wasn't so.
