The hotel has been recently re-furbed by the new owner, who has done out the hallways, rooms and breakfast room nice and modern, with a definite basque decor and feel. It is ideally situated, five minutes walk from the Cote Basque beach (which was where we surfed the whole time), and ten minutes from the Grande Plage - without all the noise that you get on the beach front hotels at night! Breakfast was lovely, fresh from the bakery (normal for France), and the owners were very keen to make sure that we had everything we needed, even recommended local surf hire. The price was excellent compared to some of the beachfront hotels and so much more chilled out. Biarritz is a great town to visit, loved everything about it!

Very friendly staff helping us with restaurant reservation. Good location to other parts of Biarritz. In a calm street.

Well, the room was in the last floor and I had to carry some baggage via the stairs, a bit difficult. Room was small, and bathroom too small. Not too much value for money, but for Biarritz it was in the average for this time of the year in the city (I paid 200 euros for 2 nights, normal price is a reasonable 65 euros per night).
