Friendly helpful staff, lovely setting with stream running through grounds. Good breakfast. Nouvelle cuisine restaurant next door. Pleasant terraces to eat outside. Only complaint ...shower cubicles very small and shower not great. Otherwise lovely room and comfy bed. Well situated for Dordogne and especially for visiting caves such as Lascaux and Rouffignac. Recommended.

Room Tip: No lift and three flights of stairs to top room .... mine was number elevenon too floor. But lovely view. Sunny room in afternoon.

My favorite thing about this hotel is its grounds. Loved the vines hanging from the bridge and growing on the stone walls and the water-wheel. The stream that runs next to this restored old mill is very soothing, and we enjoyed relaxed moments sitting next to it. The room we had was nice and large, and there was decent parking outside. It’s a very easy walk to town, and the Au Vieux Moulin restaurant (attached to Hotel) is lovely, but a bit expensive for us. We noticed it was on the “Route de Fois Gras” We did not eat breakfast here because we needed to be at the Font du Gaume before breakfast started.
The only downside we found with this hotel were the metal doors which we found unnecessarily loud and should be changed.

We found this hotel after arriving late in Les Eyzies - and what luck! The room had everything we needed, with unlimited wifi access, was very clean, quiet and had a great view. Breakfast was good - and cheap. We visited out of season so the room was very competitive too. A place we would certainly return to in the future.

The hotel is in a lovely location, with pretty views and a quiet grassy area. My room was relatively small, but sufficient and clean. The attached restaurant is pretty good, although the dishes are inconsistent and the service muddled. The wifi worked consistently and was available throughout my room.

I don't know that I would recommend the hotel, not being familiar with the other options available, but it's certainly a reasonable option.

Hotel was pretty much what I expected- rates were good, basic rooms, the location was excellent. A great base for looking through the various caves with prehistoric art. The restaurant was good, but a bit expensive for us, but there is plenty of choice close by in the town.
