We stayed here twice during our nine-day car trip through Brittany, once at the beginning and again at the end of our trip. We selected this hotel based on the reviews, and found it to be a perfect location about half-way between the train station and the historical center of Rennes. A nice size room, quiet, professional staff at the reception and a reasonable price.

Our only complaint was the high price requested for breakfast - you'd be much better off going out to one of the many cafes nearby.

The front desk staff were very helpful for us during our two stays making dinner reservations and offering suggestions of parks (fabulous!) for walking our small dog.

Nicely located among restaurants and some shopping, about 2 blocks from the SNCF Train Station. Room was neat and tidy, daily housekeeping services. But I will warn you that the bottom of the bathtub (tub/shower combination) is horribly slippery. No rubber mat, so spread a hand towel on bottom and stood on that. I did tell the housekeeper why i did that, and she understood. Good assortment of items at breakfast, and they had real coffee instead of the instant stuff. Parking a rental car is left to whatever spot you can fund or using a pay lot 2 blocks away. The only drawback in my opinion is the fact that there is no ice anywhere in the building, so i had to ask for ice at neighboring restaurants.

Used this venue as a base for an extended stay in the region to visit various towns in cities in the Brittany region. Principal reason for booking this property was its proximity to the bus and train stations. We were very happy with the property's location and particularly its proximity to both stations. The property is not to far from the old city centre - 10 to 15 minute walk. The area is also well served with Restaurants, Bars and a well stocked Supermarket is approximately 5 minutes away. We did not experience excessive noise even though our room was located on the main road. The appointments in the room were modern although lacking in either a Bar or drinks fridge. There is a kettle provided and a wardrobe. For a 3 star venue we thought that the room was very cramped. There was minimal space to move around the room whilst the bathroom could not be used by more than one person at a time. Separate toilet facility was in the room. Bed was comfortable although some people may find it a bit to soft. Pillows were great. There is no doubt that the room we had was designed to get the most out of the least. On a couple of occasions during our stay, the breakfast room was not able to cope satisfactorily enough with all the guests that arrived to have their breakfast and some had to wait until other guests had finished before there was sufficient room to cater for them. Breakfast was adequate and staff always made sure that food was replenished as it was used. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. Overall, we would rate the hotel as good but the lack of space drags the rating down.

This accommodation was part of our 2700kms tandem cycling holiday through France. It is located close to the train station and restaurants. Our room was modern and bright with a large queen sized bed, study desk and cupboard with a neat well-appointed ensuite. Our tandem bicycle was securely stored downstairs.

Room tip: Rooms to the back of the hotel are less noisy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was easy to reach, centrally located, beautifully appointed, clean, modern and served a great breakfast. The staff were also friendly and knowledgeable. What more could you ask? We would definitely stay here again.
