There are several tasty traditional dishes available, but many others are original recipes with a beautiful and appetizing presentation of the dish. My favourite was the crumble de rouget au pesto, a fantastic starter, followed by another fish for the main course. There was also a large array of meat, and the wine list, albeit a little expensive, is great. A good choice for a nice meal, with great service to boot.

Charming restaurant in a picturesque street of Rennes' old town. Friendly, helpful and charming staff who did their best to accommodate non-French speaking guests. Following the waiter's personal recommendation from the set menu turned out to be a great choice: The starter snails were really tasty and generous amounts of fresh breads served along them to scoop up that lovely parsley-garlic butter. The veal skewer with mash for the main was simple, but what else do you really want other than tender and juicy meat nicely grilled. Rounding off with another classic, a chocolate fondant spongy and crunchy on the edges, with a runny fudge on the inside. Excellent service, tasty food, value for money.

We had the evening set meal which was 23€ 3 courses. The food was uninspiring and overpriced. The dishes were served with sloppy side dishes that were too wet. Deserts were ok. Fish and steak was cooked ok. There was a nice atmosphere because of the other diners and it was near to Christmas. The service was disinterested, no one asked if our food was ok or if we needed anything. We were very disappointed, we'd expected more. Won't return.

Estaminet style restaurant in an historic building with a good ambience and service but sadly very poorly executed dishes. We both had starters, mains and puddings and the only thing we enjoyed was the bread. Escargots served in a bisto tasting gravy, entrecote with no flavour at all served with frites that were brown, soggy and undercooked (possibly leftovers from the lunch service, and we were the first diners that evening). Foie gras was flash fried and cold served in a tasteless sauce and the Andouilette was served with the same bisto gravy as the escargots. Everything underseasoned so lacking in depth of flavour. Bill for two €103 inc drinks.

Fiund this little restaurant while wandering lovely streets of Rennes. It looked very traditional so I have decided to give it a go. Evening was warm and I was able to sit outside which was great. Food was georgous and the staff very nice even though they didn't speak any English!
