Very noisy air conditioning in the room ( we wondered why we were provided with ear plugs by the bed !) Long waits in the restaurant between courses, in fact on our last evening we had been waiting 1hour 15 minutes for dessert so we walked out in disgust. The owners did apologize the next day and did not charge for our non alcoholic drinks. Hotel in a magnificent position but the surrounding area and town is very run down, not a patch of grass anywhere apart from behind the tourist office which was difficult as we had our dog with us. Every other shop was derelict and boarded up, nothing attractive at all. Heavy lorries thundering through the town.
Excellent breakfasts, lovely lounge, seating and dining areas. Stone floors and beams throughout. Pleasant staff. Very near the magnificent Morvan National Park. Excellent fast Wi Fi throughoutMore
