Stayed here for one night on our way from the Dordogne to the ferry. The hotel is a delightful place to stay in a picturesque little town. Very friendly staff and owners. Easy free parking around the corner, and our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. Several restaurants very close. A simple but tasty locally-sourced breakfast saw us on our way very content.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor, looking out on to the street - but the substantial shutters ensured privacy and quiet.

We stayed here twice in a five day visit to the Loire. Lovely hotel, it oozes quality. Friendly and efficient owners for whom nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable rooms, there is no air-con, but as it is in a quiet street in a quiet town, leaving the windows open is no hardship. Breakfast is simple, but of extremely high quality - everything is sourced locally and is organic where possible.
Highly recommended.

Unsophisticated, but charming hotel.
Convenient to visit chateau.
No car park, but there are loads of free car park in Azay le Rideau.
Breakfast available, no evening meal, but there are loads of restaurants in the town.
Owners friendly, telling us about the night openings of the chateau grounds, which was excellent.
Recommended. [We used it as a stopping place on way from Caen to Dordogne, and it made a great break point

Situated a few minutes from the chateau, this delightful hotel offers ideal accommodation for the visitor. Part of the hotel is in a converted old school building and the rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The who property is maintained to a high standard. a warm welcome from the owner and wife, and helpful advice on local restaurants and facilities.

Room Tip: Rooms in old school building very well presented with tv and wi-fi.

Just an incredible location on a pedestrian street in the heart of a lovely little town. You can drive to the front door and unload, and then park in public parking 1/2 block away(free). The gorgeous, approachable-sized chateau is 1/2 block in the other direction. The proprietors seemed to be a family and were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean, modern with everything you need. Very nice locally-sourced breakfast. I highly recommend this place! Seemed quite reasonable for everything you get by staying here. When we go back to Azay le Rideau I hope we can stay at Hotel de Biencourt!

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor- very quiet and accessible
