A standard 2 star hotel with all you need for an overnight stay. Small room but comfortable and a pleasant welcome from the lady on reception if your French is up to it Breakfast was a bit expensive at 9.50 each but there was some variety , it included cold meat, cereal bread croissant choice of jams and served in a pleasant dining room

Room Tip: If you are at the front you need to close the shutters as the street light is very bright

This is a standard two star hotel.... 1970's style at a reasonable price. The owners gave good recommendations on where to eat. The town is a good centre for looking at the area. Although there isn't parking at the hotel we found places near by on both nights we stayed there. breakfast was OK... value for money, up for debate

We have stayed at this hotel for the second year for 1 night en route driving to Spain, good reception, nice clean room, great breakfast and Beaugency is a lovely town. Some good restaurants near by also. Would do it again.

Le Templiers is, perhaps, better suited to cycles that cars since parking is, at best, challenging. However a warm welcome awaits you. Rooms are clean if basic and the owners excel in trying to be helpful (but exclusively in French). The location is quiet but in easy walking distance of a wide range of restaurants, the river and beautiful old buildings plus the chateau although we were too late to do an interior chateau tour. [Do allow two hours to explore the small town on foot before diving into a restaurant.] .

Room Tip: Better rooms are on the second floor (no lift) but owners are happy for you to view available rooms and make your own selection

We accidentally ended up in this hotel after a very rainy day of cycling. Though we were really dirty and wet, the owners were very friendly with us. The hotel's got a garage to store and repair bicycles, and the owner even provided us help and spare tubes for repairing our bikes! The room was very tidy and breakfast was fine, so we were very happy with this hotel!
